Week By Week Look At Painting Through Art Class

Craig Meklir Uncategorized

This blog post provides a week by week look at my progress (or lack thereof) over my 6 week art class.  Although I had already selected my colors and painted a composition on a smaller scale on paper before the art class had begun (for planning), I did not foresee the myriad of “problems” I would encounter while executing the painting during art class.  By the end of my final session of class, I was nowhere close to finishing the painting.  Fortunately, I have a phenomenal art teacher who, after the class ended, provided me additional instruction and guidance to get the painting on the right track (Thank you A!).

Below is a week by week look at my painting at “clean up time” over the six-week art class.  As you can see from the pictures, I changed the top section 3 times and adjusted the color of the green mountains and the water several times.
